The Met-Our Events

We hold wine tastings twice a month, once at our downtown Renton location, and once at our Lake Washington location. They are held on Thursdays, with an open house format, starting at 7:00pm and closing at 9:00pm. The fee is $15.00 per person, and includes the tasting and a variety of cheeses and desserts to accompany the wine. All of our tastings are poured by the winemaker. We schedule the winemaker to come in and pour his/her own wine and allow our customers to ask questions – this has been extremely beneficial to our customers that are interested in extending their knowledge about the different varietals, appellations and wine culture in Washington state.

We also do an Open Mic Night twice a month at the downtown Renton location and once a month at the Lake Washington location. These are held on Friday nights, beginning at 8:00pm and lasting until the last person has performed. We have had standing room only at the last few downtown Open Mic’s, and it is an opportunity for our community to come and check out the local talent. Everything from comedy to acoustic guitar, from poems to drum jam sessions, you’ll experience it all at The Met Open Mic.
